Problem Areas…

I tend to believe that my legs are my best asset.  Even when I was younger, I used to show off my legs.  But in comes college and the freshman 15…err…30.  Then the real world which includes sitting at a desk everyday and eating my lunch at my desk.  You start to pack on the pounds and even lose your pride and joy areas.  These parts of the body then become your “problem areas”.

My problem area for a while there … was my legs.  I would run and run to no avail.  I would do walking lunges every night and they still did not look the way I remembered or even the way I perceived them.

Whatever your problem area is, yes, regular cardio does help to decrease body fat, but you cannot expect to see definition without the use if weights.  Weight training allows you to target specific muscle groups.  The next time you want to start working on a problem area try weight training on that area.  By working at least 3 days a week, consistently, you will begin to see changes take affect.
